Upon the floating ice, the inexplicable deaths of two Gravity Forest wizards had left every wizard uneasy. No one wanted to face such a senseless calamity falling upon their head.
Everyone else believed the two wizards had died to some demonic trickery. Only Nereus, staring at the two corpses, seemed to have noticed something.
With a sinister look in his eyes, Nereus came to the front of the floating ice. He had intended to ask Monchi whether their deaths had anything to do with Sanders. But before Nereus could speak, Monchi said, "Nereus, you came at just the right time."
Monchi pointed toward the distant Void Giant Tower.
Pitch-black clouds had wrapped around the tower's peak layer upon layer. Yet those clouds were made entirely of densely packed demons.
"Do you see it?" The eyes beneath Monchi's mask narrowed. "He has come."
Nereus followed his gaze. What Monchi pointed at was not the demons, but the very heart of the black clouds: a fiery streak of light, carrying boundless majesty, tore through the layers of encirclement. Like a king descending upon his realm, it landed atop the Void Giant Tower.
Though the dense horde of demons made it impossible to see what lay at the heart of that firelight, Nereus understood whom Monchi meant.
Monchi's sole objective in coming to Lasudelan—Orucia!
"Lord Monchi, are you planning to make a move now?" Nereus looked toward Monchi.
"He was hiding in Prey Hall before, and now that he has finally come out, this is surely the best time to strike!" Sinafa said. Her frost-white hair flew in the wind, while boundless battle intent rose in her fiery eyes.
Luchi, whose body was set with twelve round clocks,
