Komodo's ramming did not stop for an instant. At first, it had merely used its body to smash into the barrier, but after many collisions, it discovered that the glowing patterns surrounding the Void Giant Tower had only swayed slightly, without suffering any damage.
So Komodo changed its approach. It began hurling fireballs at the glowing patterns without pause.

A vast number of fireballs struck the glowing patterns, visibly dimming their color. Yet once the force of the fireballs faded, the patterns brightened once more.
Seeing this, Komodo immediately understood that its burst of energy had not been powerful enough.
