"Orucia looked like he had fallen asleep?"
When someone first said this, others refuted it. How could he possibly fall asleep under such circumstances?
Yet Orucia remained motionless for a long time. Some wizards used spells to examine him and discovered that he really did seem to be asleep. Not only that, all his bodily functions were in decline, and that decline was still continuing.
He was utterly defenseless.
"Could this be a deliberate trap to lure us into attacking?" a wizard asked.
"I don't think he'd use himself as bait at a time like this. Rather than deliberate, I think Orucia is trying to consume the Origin Fire as quickly as possible, so he's resorted to such an extreme method."
"So he's being this reckless because the Night Innkeeper is at his side?"
Though many people had vaguely guessed Orucia's intentions, no one truly dared to step forward and attack him now. Everyone silently watched the Night Innkeeper, waiting both for the descent of the Lord of Fire and for the Night Innkeeper to leave.
The Night Innkeeper's upper body had already emerged from the vortex. Only his waist and legs remained inside.
His legs emerged far more quickly than his upper body had.
In barely two minutes, the Night Innkeeper turned around, revealing legs scorched by flames.
When the Night Innkeeper leaped out of the vortex, heaven and earth suddenly changed color!
Every flame began to dance at that instant! Even the fire elements within fire-aligned wizards and demons seemed on the verge of breaking through their barriers and rushing into the outside world!
Even the already faint Flame Mark on Angel's earlobe split off another flame, which danced and rejoiced!
All fire elements boiled and leapt with joy!
It was as though they were welcoming the birth
