How could white light possibly emerge out of thin air in the dark void?

Judging by the direction it had fallen from, there was no doubt that the item emitting white light was Binaqiongsi's Dragon Scale!

Binaqiongsi's Dragon Scale had been lost—what did that mean?

A flicker of fear passed through Angel's eyes.

His gaze slowly shifted to Grewu's hand, only to see the frozen "ice ball" melting at a speed visible to the naked eye.

When the firelight vanished, a dark-skinned little boy was clinging to Angel's back. In appearance, he was exactly like a six- or seven-year-old human child. The only difference was the two small protruding demon horns on his forehead.

"You're Grewu?" Angel looked over in surprise.

A trace of dark red flashed across Grewu's delicate dark face. Turning away, he muttered softly, "This way, it shouldn't melt anymore, right?"

Angel shook his head. "I told you, it isn't your fault."
