Angel had barely flown beyond the barren mountain when a terrifying boom erupted behind him.

The shockwave from that boom spread outward in ripples, reaching even Angel, who had already left the mountain's range. A fierce gale swept over him, sending him spinning through the air several times before he finally steadied himself.

When he looked back, the barren mountain had already been swallowed by dust and smoke. Countless shattered rocks burst from the haze like a volcanic eruption. Yet where a volcano spewed lava, this eruption spewed fragments of the mountain itself.
