Xius watched Sanders awaken, then walk straight into the cage.
Sanders looked down at Rolando, his eyes thoughtful.
The corners of Rolando's mouth curved upward. Even before Sanders, he still wore that sinister smile and fixed Sanders with venomous, eerie eyes.
Xius stepped forward and lifted the Silencing Barrier around the cage. "Lord Phantom Demon, have you discovered something?"
Sanders said calmly, "While feigning sleep just now, I thought of a possibility. I need to verify my conjecture."
A possibility? Xius was somewhat puzzled. He did not know what Sanders meant, but neither did he press the question. He simply watched Sanders's movements in silence.
Sanders extended a finger, and countless illusion nodes streamed from his fingertips. Like multicolored rainbow light, they instantly surrounded Rolando on all sides.
Feeling the familiar fluctuations of illusion magic, Xius frowned. "This is... illusion hypnosis?"
They had already tried many times before, using illusions to mentally interfere with Rolando, yet it had produced no effect whatsoever. Xius could not understand why Sanders wanted to try again.
A few minutes later, just as Xius had expected, the illusion hypnosis had no effect at all.
Rolando lifted his head as well, a mocking smile on his face. "Do you think repeatedly using the same illusion will let you find a flaw? It's useless. Even if you're a true knowledge wizard, you're nothing more than this."
