Firstheart City's streets were far more sparsely populated than before. Nearly half the city had already emptied out.
Everyone had gone to the Stone Pillar Colosseum in the southern district.
The Stone Pillar Colosseum was something Angel had discovered in a remote town of the Central Empire on Revelation Continent and pulled into the dream. It covered an enormous area, comparable to the Ocean Theater. The overall structure was a bird's nest-shaped building made of white granite, surrounded by clusters of round stone pillars of varying heights. Exquisite animal statues were carved upon those pillars. It looked not only breathtaking, but possessed a layered beauty of pure white.
Thus, it came to be known as the Stone Pillar Colosseum.
The colosseum had originally been intended for watching beast fights, but where could Firstheart City find animals to compete now? Since the venue was spacious enough, it had instead become a place for residents to settle private grudges through duels.
Today, the colosseum was hosting a match that nearly every resident of Firstheart City cared about: Sheriff Tulas versus City Defense Captain Sabel.
The colosseum could hold over a thousand people, and at this moment, more than seventy percent of the seats had already been swallowed by the crowd.
By the time Angel and Leon arrived, all the good viewing spots had been taken.
Angel had only come to accompany his brother Leon and to see the knight Sabel, who was said to have killed a Transcendent. He was not particularly curious about the match itself. To him, it made no difference where he watched it from.
Besides, he had a god's-eye view. Even if he were not inside the colosseum, he could still observe every minute detail of the battle within.
