Leon had come to a city in the Wizarding World for the first time, and he was full of curiosity about the shops run by extraordinary beings.
So, as he followed Angel along Magic Material Street, he kept observing the shops lining the road.
One shop in particular caught his attention.
It was a large iron-clad building with a distinctive shape. Two symmetrical chimneys rose from its roof like a pair of ears. Its sign was also rather interesting, with the outline of a cat ear at the very front.
At first glance, it looked quite cute.
"Long-Eared Bloodline Trial Ground?" Leon looked at the words on the sign.
He could understand each of those words separately, but when they were put together, he was a little confused.
What exactly did this shop do?
Just then, Leon heard a hoarse, low voice beside him. When he turned around, he found Nausicaa speaking to him. "Leon, it's all right if I call you Leon, isn't it?"
Leon nodded.
"You're interested in this shop?" Nausicaa looked toward the uniquely shaped Long-Eared Bloodline Trial Ground.
"I saw the word 'bloodline' on it, so I was curious," Leon said.
"This shop specializes in special training for bloodlines with mutated ears." Nausicaa looked Leon up and down. "You haven't fused with a bloodline yet, so you can't enter this shop. Even if you did fuse with one, you still might not be able to enter."
There seemed to be a contradiction in Nausicaa's words.
As Leon was puzzled, Angel pointed at the noticeboard on the other side of the shop. Only then did Leon notice the bold words written there: This shop serves only those with Long-Eared Bloodlines.
"That's the rule of Mansi Magic Material Street," Angel said. "For many of the shops here, if
