Natasha looked at the young man crouching before her in confusion. After hesitating for a moment, she asked, "You... are you an alchemist?"
Angel raised his eyes to glance at Natasha, then nodded. "More or less."
Natasha had actually paid no attention to outside affairs for a long time. Coupled with the recent upheaval at Black Castle, even though Angel had not concealed his face, she did not recognize him.
Natasha did not resist Angel repairing her mechanical body either. Even if she could return, she would likely have to wait in line for a long while to get it repaired. She might even have to undergo a full-body replacement, which would take even longer. Now that someone could repair it, even if he merely restored her mobility, that was enough.
Although Natasha still doubted Angel's alchemical ability somewhat, he was following Lord Phantom Demon after all. He presumably could not be too bad.
Natasha's accommodating attitude spared Angel the trouble of explaining. After all, he was tinkering with someone else's body.
Angel swiftly took out all manner of materials and began refining them. Both hands, along with the Magic Hand, were in motion. Natasha saw nothing but flickering afterimages before her eyes. By the time she dazedly came back to her senses, Angel had already put all the tools back into his bracelet.
Brushing off the ash that had fallen onto his hands, Angel stood up. "That should do it. Try and see whether you can walk."
Natasha looked at the right half of her body in astonishment. The sparks that had been flying from it before had all vanished. Its cold outer shell looked perfectly intact, and the gears and vortex instruments within had all been recalibrated.
