"You knew her, didn't you?"
Natasha frowned, suspicion in her eyes, unable to understand why Angel had brought up Huahua.
Because of what she had blurted out earlier, Natasha could not deny it now. After pondering for a moment, she nodded. "I knew her."
"She had stayed beneath the deep well all along. Why did she suddenly disappear?" Angel's gaze abruptly sharpened.
Natasha fell silent.
"You took her away, didn't you?" Angel asked again. "Why did you take her away?"
Natasha pressed her lips tightly together and still said nothing.
"And earlier, you said Lady Isabella told her not to run around, so does she have some connection to Isabella?"
Natasha answered none of the consecutive questions. Under Angel's increasingly grave expression, she could only finally say in a soft voice, "This matter involves a secret..."
"A secret?" Angel raised a brow. "Huahua stayed peacefully in that deep well for so many years and never went outside. What secret could she possibly be involved in?"
Natasha opened her mouth, yet did not know how to answer. Still, there was obvious confusion in her eyes. Why did Angel know so much about Huahua?
"You're curious why I know about Huahua?" Angel sneered. "Because I was the one who made that illusion room beneath the deep well for her!"
Natasha abruptly looked up. "You're the big brother Huahua talked about?"
Angel gave a cold snort. While Natasha was still reeling in shock, the illusion around them suddenly underwent an earth-shaking transformation. The spacious hall became narrow, the bright lighting turned hazy, and a few pleasant notes appeared in the silent world.
Natasha watched with her own eyes as the hall before her transformed into a pink maiden's bedroom.
