There had been only one explosion, and the area it affected had not been large. The Soul Domain beneath the Corpse Forest had not been affected either. The only regret was that Black Castle's surface buildings had been destroyed.
For Black Castle's wizards, the damage to their reputation might have been greater. They had failed to protect even their own iconic structure. But in terms of tangible losses, there had not been much, since extraordinary resources and the like were all underground.
By the time Sanders had finished recounting the entire process, Isabella's treatment was also nearing its end.
"How is Isabella doing now?" Kimberly asked. Though she disliked Isabella, Isabella had taken responsibility of her own accord this time, so she was still concerned about her condition.
"Her condition has stabilized for now, but..." Isabella pondered for a moment before continuing, "The backlash from the spell was severe. Combined with the impact from the explosion, even her mind space was shaken. I'm afraid it will be difficult for her to recover in a short time."
Kimberly's brow furrowed slightly at this. She had not expected Isabella's injuries to be so serious this time.
She looked at Isabella, intending to offer a few words of comfort, only to discover that Isabella herself did not seem particularly sorrowful. Instead, she gazed at Isabella with delight in her eyes, seemingly happy that Isabella had shown concern for her.
"Then I'll recover from my injuries. Without breaking, there can be no rebuilding," Isabella replied softly.
Isabella looked in surprise at this most troublesome of students. Since returning to the Southern Region, she had disliked practically everything Isabella had done. Yet at this moment, she finally felt a measure of relief.
"It's good that you can think that way."
