The bright candlelight illuminated the wooden cabin. Fragrance drifted in from the kitchen, and a warm, homely feeling filled the entire little house.
In such a leisurely atmosphere, Vanason began recounting what had happened in class during the day.
Midora's expression remained genial throughout, but as Vanason spoke, surprise occasionally flashed through his eyes.
For instance, Angel's chosen topic had startled Midora from the very beginning.
When Midora had gone to see Angel before, he had already known that Angel would be lecturing on the Alchemical Illusion Realm. But the Alchemical Illusion Realm was a relatively narrow topic, while the interaction between energy and matter was an extremely broad subject. Though it also encompassed the Alchemical Illusion Realm, the topic was simply too vast. Midora believed Angel could be an excellent teacher, but starting with such a broad subject—could he keep it under control?
Midora's worries were, in fact, exactly the same as Vanason's feelings at the time.
Both believed Angel would certainly have no problems when it came to enchantment.
But the subject he had chosen was far too broad. It would definitely involve content from other non-enchantment schools, perhaps even fields outside metallurgical studies. If someone asked a question, Midora worried that Angel might be left tongue-tied.
Yet as Vanason continued, Midora's eyes grew brighter and brighter.
Not only had Angel explained things exceptionally well, but his angle of analysis was also remarkably sharp and unconventional. Even Midora himself would not have found it easy to explain things from such a precise angle.
When Vanason mentioned that Angel had given everyone five minutes to ask questions, Midora's worries returned.
If Angel had left time for questions after discussing the Alchemical Illusion Realm later on, the questions would probably have centered around it. But Angel had let everyone ask
