Nausicaa and Reynolds had finished their conversation. Reynolds gave Nausicaa one final bow, then turned and left.
When he arrived in the courtyard, Reynolds saw Angel. Angel had already returned to his original appearance, and Reynolds immediately bowed to him respectfully.
Angel smiled and nodded. Reynolds had given Leon quite a bit of guidance before. Whether he knew Leon's identity or had done so intentionally, Angel could not look coldly upon him for that alone.
Shan had originally planned to keep Reynolds in the courtyard for roast meat, but after seeing Angel, Reynolds seemed somewhat restrained. He shook his head and declined, saying only that he had something to do before leaving first.
Watching Reynolds' departing back, Shan wore a suspicious expression. "Was he rejected by Nausicaa?"
Shan pushed open the main doors and looked toward Nausicaa, who was sitting in the hall.
Nausicaa still held her smoking pipe across her hand, and the air was thick with tobacco smoke carrying an unusual fragrance. Amid the haze, Nausicaa's gaze was somewhat unfocused, as though she were deep in thought, yet also hesitant.
"You look very hesitant. Don't tell me Reynolds confessed, and you're wondering whether to be with him?" Shan lifted the curtain of the hall and ran over to Nausicaa's side.
Nausicaa snapped out of her daze. After hearing Shan's words, she could not help laughing. "What nonsense are you imagining? Reynolds merely came to discuss something with me."
"Discuss something? What?" Leon asked as he entered behind Shan.

"It's rare to see you come by."
