As Angel was paying attention to Trom, Gloria's voice came from beside him.
Gloria's brows were slightly furrowed as she stared at the gloomy, deathly silent Azaz on the stage. Her expression was unusually solemn.
Angel followed her gaze.
He had been watching Trom earlier and had not paid attention to Azaz. Now that he looked directly at him, Angel could not help frowning as well.
That was because Azaz also gave off a fluctuation that felt very familiar to him. Unlike the obscure, hidden energy on Trom, however, Angel almost immediately understood the source of the fluctuation surrounding Azaz.
"A demon?" Angel murmured in surprise.
Gloria turned her head. "You sensed it too? Oh, I almost forgot. You caused quite a storm in Lasudelan before. The waves still haven't settled even now."
After a pause, Gloria nodded. "That's right. It's demonic power."
Angel had seen far too many demons—living and dead, demons as huge as mountains and as small as flower spirits. He had encountered them all. He even had quite a few demons he was on good terms with, such as the Half-Blood Demon Canaan and the Young Fire Demon Grewu.
Precisely because he was so familiar with demons, Angel had immediately detected the source of the fluctuation surrounding Azaz.
It had definitely come from a demon.
"That makes sense. Azaz has never hidden it, either. His nickname is even Devil Gourmet." Angel looked at Gloria. "But the demonic fluctuation on him is a little strange. It seems to originate from within him, yet not quite. Could he be the descendant of a demon and a human?"
"If he really were the descendant of a demon and a human, the Extreme Sect would have long since lost its composure." Gloria said, "He probably sacrificed
