There were delicious ingredients in Kihara Bar? Azaz guessed that anyone Sebastian had his eye on was surely human—and a powerful human at that. And the strongest person in Kihara Bar was undoubtedly its owner.

Not to mention that Kihara Bar's owner was a formal wizard, even if he were not, Azaz could never bring himself to cook a human.

Azaz shook his head, ignoring Sebastian's temptation as he hurried onward.

Before long, he reached the inn where he was temporarily staying.

It was an inn run by mortals. Though its owner was a mortal, anyone able to open a business in Sky Mechanical City was bound to have supernatural backing. Thus, the supernatural guests staying there were all fairly well-behaved.

Still, it was ultimately a mortal inn. Its building materials were quite ordinary, and its defenses were correspondingly weak.

It was not particularly concealed, either.

But Azaz did not care. For certain reasons, he had not used food to make money, so he did not have many magic crystals on him. It was already quite good that he was not wandering outside the city; at least he had a place to rest.

Dragging his weary body, Azaz headed upstairs.

Just as he reached the floor where his room was located, Sebastian's eerie laughter rang through his mind. "Looks like you have a visitor today?"

"A visitor?" Azaz hesitated briefly, then turned to look toward the end of the corridor. The innermost room on the fourth floor was where he stayed.

The door appeared closed. There was no sign of the "visitor" Sebastian had mentioned.

Since they were not outside the door, could it be... Azaz's heart skipped a beat, but his expression remained calm as he spoke with Sebastian in his mind. "You mean someone is in my room?"
