Looking at the corpse sprawled in the dust, pity flickered in Angel's eyes before he slowly let out a breath.

Angel banished Kazhona's corpse into the void, erasing every trace of it completely. After one last glance at the little chapel, he shook his head and turned to leave.

Angel had only just left the parish when a flash of light streaked through the smog-choked sky.

Like a falling star, the light trailed a long tail as it descended from the heavens and landed before Angel.

As the halo gradually faded, a gigantic Rose-Pattern Teapot appeared behind it. Water constantly surged beneath the teapot's base. Strangely, the water did not drip down; instead, it kept the teapot hovering steadily in midair.

An otter cautiously poked its head out of the spout, making gurgling sounds.

Three people stood atop the lid: Gloria, seated in an ornate chair; Shali, dressed in a magician's outfit behind Gloria; and Alan, sprawled on the ground, clutching the rim and trembling.

The moment the teapot landed, Alan immediately jumped down.

Shali's teapot vehicle was simply too terrifying. Alan was not afraid of heights, but the place assigned to him had happened to be the teapot's vent. Steam kept washing over his face, and his clothes were being soaked faster than they could dry. They had also been flying high in the sky; the freezing temperature combined with his drenched clothes had nearly frozen him to death.

After jumping down, Alan immediately used fire magic to dry himself from head to toe, then cast a Cleansing Spell. Only then did his shivering body feel somewhat better.

Even so, Alan's lips were still slightly purple.
