"Yes." Glen nodded. "Lord Pat has emerged from seclusion."
Hearing Glen's answer, Shan suddenly turned to look at Alan, her eyes brimming with accusation.
Alan hurriedly waved his hands. "When I arrived at the manor, Lord Pat really was still in the laboratory. He hadn't emerged from seclusion."
