Onassis had proposed two directions for the custom order: the first was to forge a weapon; the second was to forge any item related to philosophy.
Angel chose the second direction.
It was not because he had any particular passion for "philosophy." It was simply because Onassis had made far too many blatantly contradictory demands for the weapon: "multicolored black," "restrained yet grand," "a touch of roundness amid sharpness," and so on. Compared to Onassis's demands, those were merely small matters.
Although Antonio had said he could ignore such unreasonable requests, this was, after all, a custom order for the New Star Tournament champion. If he truly intended to forge it, he still had to take more things into account.
Angel simply could not be bothered to waste time and energy studying Onassis's requirements for the weapon, so he chose the second option.
The second option appeared simple, consisting of only one sentence. Yet when it came to actually forging it, most alchemists would probably be utterly bewildered. "Philosophy" was a broad concept, and its contents were far too extensive. Its scope could stretch from nature to the humanities, from the laws of all things to the eternal universe. As long as a philosophical thinker's imagination was vast enough and their vision far enough-reaching, all of it could be called philosophy.
Precisely because it was such a grand conceptual term, forging a related item was exceedingly difficult.
Other alchemists would probably deliberate for a long time, then find a point of entry, large or small, and forge an item related to a certain branch of philosophy.
But Angel was different. What set him apart most from other alchemists was that he could create Alchemical Illusion Realms and use the power of Nightmare Illusion to blend a certain "concept" into an
