Although Toby had successfully defeated the Extreme Grudge Intent, it had only been a projection within the Heart House. It was still too early to celebrate. Only by truly surviving the Extreme Grudge Tribulation could this be considered a stage concluded.
To raise his chances of overcoming the tribulation, Toby resolutely prepared to enter the Heart House once again. Through repeated trials, he could grasp more of the details of facing the Extreme Grudge Intent, which would also help him truly overcome the tribulation.
His previous victory over the Extreme Grudge Intent had been quite perilous. However, there were still nearly twenty Demon Flower Sprite Bloodstones left, and quite a few were of superior quality. Toby believed that once he used up those Demon Bloodstones, he might be able to crush the Extreme Grudge Intent when he truly faced it!
However, just as Toby excitedly prepared to enter dreams again, Gloria stopped him.
"It's already too late today. Start again tomorrow," Gloria said.
Toby's eyes filled with confusion. Before, whenever he had wanted to rest, Gloria had not allowed it; now that he was brimming with enthusiasm, Gloria suddenly called a halt. What did this mean?
"These past few days, you haven't been the only one working hard. Shali has been with you from beginning to end without rest. You may not be tired, but Shali is," Gloria explained with a smile. "You should give Shali time to rest too, shouldn't you?"
Toby did not quite believe Gloria's explanation. However, Shali did indeed look extremely exhausted. Though regretful, Toby was sensible enough. After thinking it over, he nodded.
Angel, however, understood Gloria's intentions. Toby's nerves were currently overwrought, as if he had been injected with chicken blood. Facing the Extreme Grudge Intent again in such a state, he might still
