Green Pattern System

Angel first fixed the focus of his analysis on the "Green Pattern System," centered on the Projected Bloodline.

This system was the most unfamiliar part of all the abilities he currently possessed.

He planned to divide the work into three steps: first, recording the abilities; then analyzing how the abilities operated; and finally, deciphering the Green Patterns.

Once Angel had set this goal, he knew it would be a long-term study. Especially the final step of deciphering the Green Patterns—because he had experience with it, he knew it would consume an extremely long time. Perhaps one month, two months, half a year, or even longer.

Though it would take a long time, Angel could not possibly avoid researching it. This concerned his own abilities. He could not still be muddleheaded when it came time to use them.

Even if he could use the abilities of the Green Patterns, if he merely used them without investigating the reasons behind them, Angel would be too ashamed to call himself a wizard. For a wizard was meant to cast aside comfort and ease in pursuit of every truth.

How would that differ from certain lucky people who gained special abilities and complacently delighted in themselves without probing the truth behind them?

Because this subject would require a great deal of time to study thoroughly, it would be a long, protracted battle. Angel was already prepared for this topic to run through this period of peaceful time.

After determining his research objective, Angel took out his notebook and prepared to begin his self-immersion with the part he had studied the longest—his right hand.

Time passed, and three days went by just like that.

Only when Angel noticed that the ink beside the desk had run out did he lift his head from the table.
