The only thing Angel could think of that might put the Tree Spirit in a good mood was the matter of a venue for the tea party.

"Not exactly. Liana is still very insistent. She wants me to carve out a space inside the Eternal Tree, and she also wants an aura conduit connected to the Life Pool, for extracting fragrances." As the Tree Spirit said this, he sighed and shook his head. But soon, his tone shifted. "However, Night Sylvie has been very good. She didn't dance to Liana's tune."

When Night Sylvie was mentioned, the Tree Spirit's eyes practically shone.

Angel was almost certain that the Tree Spirit's good mood had something to do with Night Sylvie.

"At first, I thought Night Sylvie would be like Liana and persuade me to create a space for the tea party, considering Liana was the one who invited her." The Tree Spirit smiled faintly. "But Night Sylvie didn't do that."

"What did she say?" Angel asked curiously.

"She said that creating a tea party space would indeed be rather troublesome, and suggested that Liana needn't be so fixated on it."

Angel said, "And then?"

"Liana refused, so Night Sylvie said we should each take a step back."

Hearing this, Angel found it rather strange. The Tree Spirit had not taken a single step forward in the first place—he had merely been standing still. If he stepped back from that, wouldn't that still mean Liana had gained a step?

The Tree Spirit continued, "Night Sylvie gave a very fair suggestion. She asked Liana and me to look around again for a suitable place to hold the tea party. If we truly couldn't find one, it wouldn't be too late to carve out a space then."

Angel said, "...And then?"
