Dodolo's sudden words instantly drew everyone's gaze to Angel.

Clearly, Dodolo meant that he wanted to speak with Angel alone.

Under normal circumstances, that would have been fine. But at this moment, the ruler of Savage Cave, one of the three great ancestral spirits, and Angel's mentor were all present. For Dodolo to suddenly say this gave the impression that he was asking this group to leave.

Everyone's expressions turned somewhat strange.

After all, Dodolo had just delivered weighty information, and he himself possessed immense potential. While no one would grow angry over it, they inevitably felt somewhat uncomfortable.

Maya helplessly rubbed her temples, shot Dodolo a reproachful glare, and prepared to say something to ease the awkward atmosphere.

But before Maya could speak, Angel beat her to it. "Is what you want to tell me about the matter I asked you to look into earlier?"

When facing Angel, Dodolo's expression visibly became much more solemn. Even the force with which he nodded seemed heavier.

Upon receiving an affirmative answer, Angel's eyes lit up. "You saw it?"

Dodolo tilted his head and thought for a moment before cautiously saying, "I saw some information about them."

A smile rippled across Angel's lips. "Then say it directly. There's no need to hide this matter; everyone present already knows about it."

After speaking, Angel looked at everyone besides Dodolo and explained apologetically, "Before Dodolo went to Stargazing Day, I asked him to help me see whether anyone from the Budding would secretly target me."

These words both explained Dodolo's behavior and eased the awkward atmosphere.

The Tree Spirit froze for a moment, then quickly understood. "You mean he was also prophesying about the Budding targeting you?"

Angel nodded. Even if Dodolo had not brought it up, Angel would have asked him about it
