The Tree Spirit's avatar opened his eyes not long after.
"Rhein already knows. He's in a meeting right now and will come over later to contact City Lord Rosen and Dean Muse personally."
After relaying Rhein's message, the Tree Spirit said to Angel, "As long as the major wizard organizations join forces, eradicating the Budding should not be difficult. When that happens, you won't have to worry about being targeted by the Budding anymore."
"However, before the Budding is officially dealt with, you may still need to lie low for a while."
Angel understood this as well. He needed to settle himself and reflect lately anyway, so even without deliberately keeping a low profile, he had no intention of going out and stirring up trouble.
After discussing the Budding, the Tree Spirit asked about Angel's repair progress. Once he confirmed that Angel had not yet formally repaired the magic energy array, he said no more. He merely told Angel to notify him once the repairs were complete before vanishing. Clearly, he was in a hurry to return and listen in on the gossip from Rhein's meeting.
Angel returned to the ruins, looking far more at ease.
In his view, the Budding no longer posed much of a threat to him. So long as he avoided them for a little while and waited for the major wizard organizations to join forces against them, he would be completely free of worry. The wait should not be long, either. The longer it dragged on, the more disadvantageous it would be for the Wizarding World of the Southern Region. Angel estimated that the two sides would enter a standoff within the year. By then, he would no longer need to worry about being watched by the Budding.
