He plans to enter the central passage within the next couple of days to investigate whether the owner of those leather shoes that appeared in the passage is still there." The Tree Spirit paused. "If we confirm they're gone, I'll contact you immediately. You can come over and see whether that gate is as you surmised."
Angel nodded. "All right."
The Tree Spirit said, "You'd best make preparations in advance, like when you repaired the magic patterns on the gate before, so nothing goes wrong at the last minute. After all, behind that gate lies the true interior of the ruins. The longer you remain there, the more variables there will be."
"I understand," Angel said solemnly.
