His eyes, both pupils and whites alike, were a deep, ghostly green.

Previously, Angel had merely assumed it was an organ mutation caused by assimilation. But upon closer inspection, he discovered that the color of the man's eyes was almost identical to the green mist around them.

Moreover, that green glimmered faintly, with traces of movement flowing through it.

"Could there be this same green mist inside his body?"

Though he still had no way to confirm it, the moment the thought arose, Angel was already certain in his heart that this might be the crux of the problem.

But even if he had found the crux, how was he supposed to prescribe the right remedy?
