"Mad Lord," Angel murmured the name softly.
Besides Blair the bee, Misty Gold, and Lord Nuka, this was the fourth named creature he had heard of since arriving at Duoling Garden.
Moreover, from the mushrooms' tone, this Mad Lord was likely also Blair the bee's superior. He just did not know what relationship it had with Misty Gold.
Could it be that if he wanted to leave Duoling Garden, he would not only have to pass Misty Gold's trial, but also this so-called Mad Lord's?
If that was truly the case, Angel suddenly felt the road ahead was bleak.
Angel sighed and did not dwell on it further. Even if the unknown road ahead hid countless traps, facing danger head-on was still better than frightening himself from the safety of the rear.
Thus, Angel kept the Mushroom Forum open as he flew toward Misty Gold's castle.
After flying at low altitude near the ground for roughly ten minutes, Angel finally left the fire-element mushroom region. Directly before him lay a "normal" mushroom forest.
This "normal" only meant that Angel had stayed in this mushroom forest long enough to find it normal. If it were anyone else, the mushrooms here would never be so gentle. They would probably have bared their fangs long ago, waiting to devour anyone who came near.
After returning to the normal mushroom forest, Angel flew for another ten minutes, yet still had not left it.
This reminded Angel of something Reeves had said before.
"After I was captured by those terrifying Demonic Beasts, I was taken all the way to this Duoling Garden. At first, the garden was very small, just as this ruin itself appeared to be—perhaps it had been converted from the ruin's material storehouse. But later, the size of the space changed."
Although
