The green-glowing solvent in the smelting pool continuously bubbled and steamed. As Boiling Gentleman approached, the sound grew louder and louder, as though a Demonic Beast had been shackled at the bottom of the pool and was now struggling with all its might, determined to break free at any cost.
Faced with this anomaly, Angel could not help turning back to look at Boiling Gentleman.
He still could not discern anything from Boiling Gentleman's invisible face, but the emotions surrounding him were constantly roiling. As the bubbles in the smelting pool increased, those surging emotions rose noticeably higher. Clearly, the changes in the smelting pool originated from Boiling Gentleman.
Angel had wanted to pry the truth about the smelting pool from Boiling Gentleman, but seeing how agitated he was, he did not question him immediately. Instead, he quietly waited for the smelting pool's next change.
The wait was not long. A minute later, the bubbling abruptly changed, joined by the splashing sound of liquid parting. At the same time, distinct ripples began spreading across the surface of the solvent that emitted a faint green glow.
It's coming. Angel focused his gaze even more intently on the smelting pool.
When the solvent's surface began to bulge, Angel had already spotted something glowing beneath it.
The glowing object did not pause. It tore directly through the liquid surface and rose into the air.
Only then did Angel see its true form—
A pure, dazzling source of light with no physical form and no vessel to cling to.
It was like a miniature sun, floating before them and illuminating this steampunk laboratory as though it were bathed in the blazing sun of high summer.
Yet this "sun" held no heat. All it brought was light, and... madness.

As Angel
