Once all the assistants had gathered, Regina could no longer wait to open the Alchemy Workshop.

The doors of the Alchemy Workshop stood half-open, and waves of earthy stench wafted out from within. Regina felt no discomfort whatsoever. She pushed open the doors and stepped inside first, followed closely by the eight assistants.

The vast laboratory instantly became empty.

Angel turned around, preparing to leave, but before he could step out of the laboratory, he heard someone call after him.

Turning back, he saw that Regina, who had entered the Alchemy Workshop first, had somehow come back out and was leaning against the doorframe as she looked at him.

"Madam Regina, did you call me back because you need something else?" Angel asked doubtfully.

Regina waved a hand. "Nothing much. There was something I suddenly forgot just now. I don't know how long the experiment will last, so before it begins, I should tell you first."

Regina paused, then continued, "When you contacted me last time, Bauxia spoke with you alone afterward. It should have been about enchanting, right?"

Angel nodded. "Yes. Madam Bauxia asked me about some special magic patterns."

"And how did you answer?" Regina gazed quietly at Angel, and the fatigue on her face abruptly vanished.
