Not long after Angel sank into thought, streams of radiance began to seep from the wall beside him. When the light reached its peak, a figure slowly passed through the wall.

The newcomer was none other than the Tree Spirit. The instant he saw Angel, he let out a relieved breath. "Thank goodness you didn't rashly charge in. Otherwise, the result would have been the same as with my previous avatar—once it entered, it was killed directly by the nightmare."
