Even Iron Armor Granny looked utterly surprised. She had seen similar situations before. Such circumstances meant that whatever was being remembered possessed an extremely special protection mechanism; only a specific, corresponding method could make it possible to retain the memory.
When Nis had consulted her earlier, she had already been certain that Angel would be unable to remember it. If anything truly important had come up, she might even have needed to travel through the Planar Corridor to see Angel herself.
