The gloomy sky was blanketed by heavy clouds, and bean-sized raindrops came pouring down.
The sea churned amid the howling wind and torrential rain. In a daze, this normally tranquil stretch of water seemed to have transformed into the Devil Sea.
Yet if any ship passed nearby and looked out through a telescope, it would find the boundary of the cloud cover at the far end of the horizon, where it could faintly see sunlight scattering shimmering reflections across the sea.
The frenzied weather extended no farther than this small patch of ocean.
To mortals, this small sea region might have been called the Sea God's cage. But anyone truly within these waters would discover that this strange phenomenon was not wrought by the forces of nature at all.
Angel was currently riding the Gondola, slicing through the dark heavens.
"There should be an unnamed little red-earth island nearby. If I sail straight in the direction the abandoned tower on that island faces, I'll enter the merchant shipping route of the Whisker Whale Sea." Angel muttered softly, peering into the distance as he searched for the rumored island to correct his course.
But the sky was far too dim, and the sea heaved in rolling waves. Even if there was an island, it was hidden from sight.
After searching for a long while without finding the island, Angel sighed helplessly and turned toward the horizon behind him. "Could you two settle down for a while?"
