After Fesipanrui left, Angel continued piloting the Gondola toward the distance.

The smoke hanging in the air had already begun to thin, and from high above, they could overlook the situation below. However, the ground was nothing but parched Scorched Earth, with no scenery worth mentioning. Looking at it for too long only made one's eyes weary.

For Dangros, however, that was not a problem. It clung to the ship's railing, the eye in its palm staring fixedly at the weathered land below. Even the boundless Scorched Earth seemed as beautiful to it as a first encounter.

Angel propped his cheek on the back of his hand and quietly watched Dangros across from him.

At first, Angel had been thinking about something. Later, however, his gaze was drawn involuntarily to Dangros's palm. The longer he looked, the more something seemed off.

"You look like you've gotten a little fatter today?" Angel finally could not help asking.

Dangros shifted its gaze from the land below to Angel. "I haven't gotten fat. You must have seen wrong."

Angel had merely asked casually at first, but Dangros's reaction was rather strange. Its eyes darted about, yet it did not dare meet his gaze. Angel narrowed his eyes. "No. I'm certain you've gotten fatter."

As he spoke, Angel dragged Toby into it as well. "Toby, take a look."

Toby chirped. Although Dangros could not understand what Toby was saying, it could see Toby gesture at his own belly with a wing, implying that Dangros's "palm" had indeed grown larger.

After Toby finished, his little eyes slanted toward Dangros, revealing a look of disdain.

Dangros did not know why Toby was looking at it that way. It had finally managed to get a little closer to Toby, and it did not want that relationship ruined
