Before the Great Whirlwind perished, it had solemnly mentioned Harriken's name. Harriken was surely no weakling—likely the sort whose name resounded across Wind Island.

Yet Anoto's answer was that it had never heard of him?

That was strange.

Jack hesitated for a moment. "Since Anoto doesn't know Harriken, I was thinking, could Harriken perhaps not be from White Cloud Township?"

"Not from White Cloud Township? You mean the Great Whirlwind betrayed Wind Island and colluded with an outside enemy?" Dangros asked skeptically.

Jack shook his head. "Not just that. I was thinking, since that Great Whirlwind was in league with Harriken, could it be that neither of them came from Wind Island?"

Dangros froze. He understood what Jack meant. White Cloud Township was not the only place with wind creatures. Jack meant that Harriken and the Great Whirlwind
