The Soft Wave Sea bordered the Greenwild Plains, a true ocean.
This sea encircled the entire continent.
In the eyes of other elemental creatures, the Soft Wave Sea had no name. Though vast enough to ring the whole continent, its water-element power was not particularly dense compared to several other water-element regions in the Tidal Realm.
For such an ordinary sea, sparse in water-element power, other elemental creatures simply called it "the sea," without giving it a special name.
Soft Wave Sea was the name Gentle Wind Uranus had given it, meaning, "the tranquility of the sea, soft waves wrinkled by a gentle wind."
As names went, Soft Wave Sea was naturally more beautiful than Nameless Sea. Thus, following Gentle Wind Uranus's naming, Angel also called this place the Soft Wave Sea.
Because its water-element power was weak, although the World Voice occasionally gave birth to a few water-element spirits here, the Soft Wave Sea itself did not yet have a fully formed water-element monarch. Thus, one could travel across the Soft Wave Sea without being bound by any rules, and the journey was exceptionally smooth.
This time, Angel was heading to the Maraya Iceberg to meet Frost Isel.
There were two ways to reach the Maraya Iceberg: by land or by sea. The land route would pass through six different elemental regions, while the sea route only required following the coastline all the way ahead; the Maraya Iceberg could be reached directly from ten thousand miles away. Since every region had different rules, Angel chose the sea route to avoid being constrained by all manner of regulations.
Since they would not be intercepted by elemental creatures at sea, the Gondola's flight went very smoothly—so smoothly that it became a little boring.
