Dream Wilderness, evening.
Angel appeared in his own room at Pat Manor in Firstheart City.
The layout of the room was identical to reality, and it was spotless. The flame in the oil lamp still burned brightly, showing that even during Angel's absence, someone had continued to clean the place.
Returning to this familiar space, Angel felt far calmer than he had sitting alone before the vine house.
Angel sat down at the desk where he had often daydreamed as a child. Watching the swaying lamplight, he continued pondering a way to break the deadlock.
He remained lost in thought for half an hour.
It was not until footsteps sounded outside the door that Angel raised his head.
"Knock, knock, knock." A light voice came from outside. "Young Master, I'm coming in."
"Young Master definitely isn't in the room. There's no need to knock. We can just go in and refill the lamp oil." Another, somewhat childish voice spoke.
"Even if Young Master hasn't returned, he is still Young Master. Those are the rules." Though she was scolding her, there was no reproach in her tone. Clearly, the two outside shared a good relationship.

The door opened, and two young maids pushed their way in, chatting and laughing as they walked.
Only after entering did they realize someone was in the room.
They were startled at first. Once they saw the person inside clearly, both maids immediately bowed respectfully. "Young Master."
"We didn't expect Young Master to return, so..." The maid with the childish voice hurriedly tried to explain.
But before she could finish, the maid carrying the lamp oil cut her off. "It was my fault. I should have obtained Young Master's permission before opening the door. Please punish me, Young Master."
Angel looked at the two maids.
