The discussion of higher dimensions ultimately amounted to nothing more than armchair theorizing, and so it could only be shelved in the end.
After a while, the void storm ahead began another round of expansion and spread. Watching the rapidly expanding void storm, Naimeicui softly asked, "Has the void storm truly not invaded the Treasure Grounds?"
Angel could not be certain of the answer to that question.
But as time slowly passed, Angel increasingly leaned toward the belief that the Treasure Grounds remained intact. At Wang Wang's speed, even crossing the void storm there and back should have taken no more than an instant. Yet it had still not appeared, which in itself already suggested something.
Perhaps it was already within the Treasure Grounds.
Of course, it was also possible that it had encountered danger and had not had time to retreat... But Angel felt that possibility was unlikely. Void Travelers possessed extremely powerful survival abilities, and if something had truly happened, the other Void Travelers nearby would surely have sensed something through the network. Yet these Void Travelers had not changed at all, which meant Wang Wang should be safe for now.
Time continued onward. Only after another five minutes did Wang Wang finally appear within their field of vision.
Angel was the first to spot Wang Wang. He had kept his Energy Vision activated, so he immediately saw Wang Wang slowly emerge from the darkness. Yet as far as energy fluctuations went, Angel had sensed nothing at all. Wang Wang's return, like its departure, carried not the slightest trace of commotion.
Angel asked, "What was the result? Is there a safe haven within the void storm?"
Angel's question also alerted Naimeicui to Wang Wang's return. Curiosity flickered in its vertical pupils.
Wang Wang did not answer at once.
