As Angel thought, he glanced up and noticed that Nis, across from him, looked far from relieved. His brow was still tightly furrowed.

Perhaps sensing Angel's gaze, Nis looked over and gave him a slight nod before turning to Kant. "Under what circumstances would a Legendary Wizard deliberately let the power of laws spill out?"

"Almost none," Kant said. "They have no reason to."

Why would someone who could perfectly control the power of laws deliberately let it spill out?

A Legendary Wizard could unleash wide-ranging attacks or control a vast area with a wave of his hand. He had no need to let the power of laws spill out to accomplish either.

So the waves of law were almost certainly not something a Legendary Wizard had released.

Even after hearing Kant's explanation, Nis's brow remained furrowed. Angel had an idea why. "You still suspect the person you encountered was a Legendary Wizard?"

Nis nodded and sighed. "I'm not the only one. After I went to the Dream Wilderness, I told Tree Spirit Lord and Iron Armor Granny about him. They had the same suspicion."

"If she acted deliberately, Granny could blur someone's memories or even seal them away. But to make someone unable to trace, recall, or investigate a memory as effortlessly as that person did, through a passive influence? That's impossible."

Iron Armor Granny's strength had always been a mystery to Angel. But the fact that Rhein trusted her to guard the Star Pool Ruins alone
