"Strength assessment?" Di Xie'er sounded puzzled, not understanding what that meant.
"It repeatedly conducts basic assessments on every examined subject within the range affected by the disorderly effect. The stronger one is, the more likely one is to pass the assessment; and vice versa."
Angel said, "The examined subjects are all thinking beings. Even a projection, so long as it possesses thoughts, will inevitably undergo assessment."
By the time Angel said this, the others more or less understood what he meant.
The Light-Chasing Speaker said, "You mean our projections are also within the assessment range. Since projections possess almost no power, they cannot possibly pass the strength assessment. That is why the attraction affecting us is stronger than for others, and harder to resist."
Angel nodded. "Yes. And this attraction will also radiate to your true bodies. Even if your true bodies are in the void, or somewhere even farther away, you cannot escape it."
"Most importantly, it uses the subjects within the assessment range as its basis, and there is an inevitable causal link. If you cannot pass the assessment, then you are bound to fail it. It will not conduct a second strength assessment on your true bodies in the void; it still takes the projections as the standard. So even if your true bodies hidden in the void are powerful, under the influence of this causal inevitability, they are still implicated—and subjected to a stronger attraction than others."
It sounded utterly unreasonable and devoid of logic, but weren't mysterious objects precisely such things? Especially one that was about to completely lose control.
With Angel's explanation, everyone understood. Yet the clearer they saw the situation, the uglier their expressions became.
"So long as our projections remain, they will continuously affect our true bodies." Di Xie'er's face darkened.
"Yes.
