After all the apprentices had received treatment, the Tree Spirit still had not returned.
After giving it some thought, Angel did not leave. Instead, he sat quietly beside the Life Pool and meditated.
It was rare for him to visit the Life Pool. How could he not linger a while longer? Besides, after using Green Pattern so extensively, Angel himself felt slightly mentally fatigued. Nurtured by such exceedingly pure life energy, he could recover faster as well.

Dangros did not possess Toby's methods. Like Angel, it merely breathed in the life energy quietly. Even so, Dangros felt stuffed full.
Although Angel was meditating, Toby and Dangros's movements did not escape his perception. However, he did not stop them. Dangros had secretly absorbed life energy from him before, and the Tree Spirit must have noticed it. Since the Tree Spirit had said nothing, that meant he tacitly approved of the behavior.
