Angel said, "Part of it was illusion, and part of it went wrong."

"You keep saying something went wrong. What exactly went wrong?" Dox asked doubtfully.

Angel let out a soft sigh. Instead of answering, he slowly walked toward the center of the Rabbit Hole.

At the center of the Rabbit Hole stood an ornate teapot shaped like a chair—or rather, it was actually a chair made to look like a teapot.

And the only "living creature" in the Rabbit Hole besides them was seated on that teapot-chair.

It was a little rabbit wearing a small black felt hat, an exquisite patterned tailcoat, and carrying a carrot-shaped cane.

At first glance, it was simply adorable.

Yet although this adorable creature had heard Angel and Dox approaching, it deliberately turned its head away and ignored them.

"So it was Chacha? I couldn't sense any life force from it, but its expression and eyes were very lively." Dox asked suspiciously, "Was it alive, or an illusion?"

Before Angel could speak, Chacha turned around and said in a delicate, soft voice, "How rude. You probed me the moment you arrived. You should be punished!"
