The little thing was a little girl who did not even reach their knees, likely no older than four. Her baby hair seemed never to have been cut, long and soft as it fell naturally over her shoulders. Paired with her emerald-green dress, she added a splash of brightness to the somewhat dim passage.
The little girl stopped not far away, her pale little face brimming with confusion. At her age, she already vaguely sensed that strangers appearing here was not a good sign.
