Angel said, "That's it. There was nothing else."
Black Earl glanced at the child still urinating in the illusion and said blandly, "Fine. Once matters here are settled, you may have your friend come to the Noah Clan to find me."
As for what Black Earl would do after Serum found him, Black Earl did not say, and Angel did not ask. This was merely an opportunity Angel had secured for Serum. Whether Serum would go was another matter entirely.
If he truly decided to go, Angel could speak with Lord Rhein then and see whether there was a way for Serum to repair the Black Codex and still emerge from the Noah Clan in one piece.

Angel said, "You should be able to tell from the name alone—the Stairway of the Hanging Prison is a staircase. If you want to call a staircase a structure, I suppose that works too."
Seeing that Dox still seemed confused, Angel hurriedly said, "Whether it's a structure or not isn't something worth paying attention to. There's no need to dwell on it."
"So are we heading straight back into the maze now?" Reluctance showed on Dox's face. "We're not going to explore the residential district?"
Angel said, "If you want to stay here and explore, I won't stop you."
