Angel stepped out of the Dome formed by shadows, one step at a time.
As Angel left, the Dome began to shrink continuously, turning into a panther-like shadow. The panther shadow flicked its tail, changing from shrinking to "melting," until it finally sank into Angel's shadow.
Yawning, Angel rubbed his shoulders and neck, which had grown sore and stiff from sleeping cross-legged, and walked toward the center of the platform.
Angel's unhidden footsteps immediately drew everyone's attention.
Most of their gazes lingered over Angel's hands or pockets. In their imagination, Angel should have refined something to trade with Xixia.
Yet it seemed he had nothing? And if it had been alchemy, wasn't that efficiency far too astonishing?
Angel noticed their gazes as well. Puzzled, he held out his hands and examined both palms and backs. There did not seem to be anything unusual? His gloves did seem a little crooked. Was that the reason?
"Were you doing alchemy just now?" At that moment, Dox walked over, draped an elbow over Angel's shoulder, and directly voiced everyone's question.
Alchemy? Realization flashed through Angel's eyes. He somewhat understood the meaning behind everyone's looks.
Come to think of it, alchemy was not a bad excuse.
"What, do you want to make a deal with Xixia too?" As Angel said this, he suddenly thought of something. "Right, I still haven't seen your result. Did Xixia accept your Holy Light Vine Staff?"
Dox spread open his palm, and a symbol wreathed in red light rose up. "Ticket in hand. What do you think?"
Angel said, "Xixia said a thing or two about everyone else's treasures. What about yours? What did Xixia say?"
