Dox had originally assumed that Angel's "taking it away" meant storing the log in a spatial tool and taking it as loot. In reality, though, Angel's idea of taking it away was completely different from what he had imagined.
Dox watched as Angel first chopped and hacked at the log, then burned it with fire. In less than half a minute, the fairly sizable log had become a slender little rod.
He then used Heat Fusion and Wax Sealing for the final shaping and sealing.
The short rod ultimately became refined and smooth.
By this point, Dox had already understood Angel's intention. He was probably planning to fit it into the staff head they had found earlier.
Sure enough, Angel's next move was to embed the short rod into the handle of that original four-in-one ornament. Now, the cane had finally become a physical object.
Moreover, in a sense, this cane was the original version. Or rather, an upgraded and more finely crafted version of the original.
After all, the staff body was made of extraordinary material. Even though Angel had merely shaped it casually, he had elevated the cane's essence.
Angel played with the cane for a moment. Once he had confirmed that it felt quite good in his hand, he said with satisfaction, "All right, let's go."
The others had all seen what the cane had originally looked like, so none of them found this surprising. Only the Wise Sovereign stared at the cane, a faintly peculiar look in his eyes.
