Earlier, he had strolled along at a snail's pace, claiming that walking faster consumed too much computing power. Now he was suddenly running this fast? Only a ghost would believe his computing power consumption was that high.
Back in Princess Town, Dox had already learned that Angel was both sly and full of tricks. Anything he said ought to be met with suspicion.
Grumbling inwardly, Dox followed after him.
He decided he would give Angel a proper grilling. Since his computing power consumption clearly was not that great, why had he put on that whole act about having to start over from the beginning after dying?
The reason Dox cared so much about Angel's computing power consumption was that, after he had "died" by touching the picture frame, he had had to run all the way back. Watching someone else do a corpse run was entertaining, but when it was your own turn, it was utterly humiliating.
