After finishing his conversation with Angel, the Alchemy Puppet turned its gaze to Olao.
Then came several more minutes of silence.
The others exchanged glances. Though they communicated only through their eyes, that did not stop them from "talking." From the current situation, it was clear that Augustine was separately doing Angel's and Olao's "persuading."
Everyone believed that was the case, but in truth, Augustine had mostly just chatted with Angel. His conversation with Olao, meanwhile, was to tell him Angel's attitude.
At present, Olao had one and only one choice: follow Angel. Thus, Augustine did not need to persuade him at all. He merely shared his own view of Angel, as well as Angel's views of himself and Olao, allowing Olao to gain a deeper understanding of Angel.
