By this point, Caroline had already laid out the threads and general framework of the Panic Realm.
Even if this framework was only the surface truth, and much of the information within was still Caroline's speculation, several pieces of intelligence Angel cared about most had already been answered.
For instance, when Caroline first met Ermi, she had assumed a Liberator had handed Ermi's control over to Angel. Angel had not understood why at the time, but now he finally knew the reason.
Liberators were innately capable of controlling awakened demonfolk. Some Liberators could even control fiends.
That was why Caroline had been puzzled when she saw Ermi obediently staying by Angel's side, leading her to that conclusion.
The information that "Liberators control awakened demonfolk" could also explain the mural Kael had seen.
The scene in the mural, where a butterfly-winged person from the Panic Realm lived in harmony with an awakened demonfolk, might not have truly been "harmonious." It was highly possible that the butterfly-winged person was a twice-awakened Liberator who had controlled the awakened demonfolk, allowing it to ride on its back so casually, creating an image of tranquil harmony.
Of course, it was also possible that a Liberator had granted control over that awakened demonfolk to the butterfly-winged person.
Which possibility it was remained unknown for now, but that was not important.
Beyond that, questions such as whether the Panic Realm was barren, the Frost Moon Alliance's internal conflicts, and the forces behind them... all had explanations now.
However, the principle that "the more one learned, the more doubts one had" fit perfectly here as well.
After hearing so much information, Angel now had many doubts in his heart.
For example: what exactly was the Liberators' stance?
The Liberators' stance determined the overall tone of the Panic Realm
