"I'll make my remaining questions specific," Angel said, putting on his most pleading expression. "Could you answer this one?"

Rabbit Chacha had been about to refuse outright, but the sense of closeness Chacha felt toward Angel gave Chacha pause. After a moment's hesitation, Chacha said, "Just this once. I won't allow it again."

"I promise there won't be a next time," Angel said.

Angel figured that since he had landed in this forest, the solution to the Omen had to be here. If he could pick out anything strange from Rabbit Chacha's account and ask about it directly, he should be able to escape this Alchemical Omen.
