"So, you wanted me to try the photography function, mentor?"
"Of course not. I wanted to..." Jon smiled mysteriously and paused for effect.
While Angel was still puzzled, Jon leaned in. He held up the Mother Tree Interlink with one hand and made a V sign behind Angel's head with the other. "To take a picture together, of course! Come on, say it with me: chee~se!"
Jon spoke in Chinese. Suspecting nothing, Angel repeated it without thinking. "Chee...se."
A strange ripple passed through the air, and white light flashed across the Mother Tree Interlink.
After Jon tapped at it for a moment, Angel noticed a new photograph on the device.
The photograph captured the moment before: Angel had his mouth open and looked as if he were smiling, though he also seemed a little dazed. Jon wore a radiant grin, and even his usually clouded eyes looked brighter in the picture.

With Jon's feeble mental strength, there was no way he could operate "consciousness painting."
Was this photograph the result of an updated function?
If Angel wanted to know how the function had been updated, he only needed to probe it with his mental strength. Instead, he looked curiously at Jon.
Jon did not explain right away. He gazed at the photograph on the Interlink, delight in his eyes.
"This should be our first picture together. It's a shame Leon isn't here. It would've been even better with him."
"It's all right," Angel said. "When Brother Leon comes in next time, we can find somewhere scenic and take another—"
Before Angel could finish, Jon clapped a hand over his mouth.
At Angel's baffled look, Jon said, enunciating every word, "Don't you jinx
