Seeing Sherlock's face full of certainty, as though everything were under his control, Angel had originally thought he had truly encountered a wise man. In the end, this man's reasoning had been wrong from the very beginning.
However, it was not entirely Sherlock's fault.
After all, the fact that most of the Bilos Family's wizards had gone to the Garden Maze ruins had been concealed from the public. The reason no large Bilos Family force had come to stop the chaos outside was because they were simply not in Bilen Tree Court.
Without knowing this, the attacks outside truly seemed shrouded in layers of mist, and any reasoning would inevitably be led astray.
So Sherlock could not be blamed. It could only be said that unequal information had caused all the subsequent deductions to go wrong.
But then again, some of the deductions made by both Sherlock and the man in the monk's robe were correct.
First, the attackers had no intention of fighting the Bilos Family to the bitter end. That should be right. Also, although the Bilos Family's main force had gone to the Garden Maze ruins, there were certainly still wizards left behind. The fact that these stationed wizards had not appeared openly was also somewhat suspicious.
Angel guessed that either the stationed wizards feared this was a scheme to lure the tiger away from the mountain, worrying that if they showed themselves, the core area would be left empty and they would fall into the attackers' trap; or the stationed wizards had other matters to deal with. For instance... perhaps they had discovered the mastermind behind the attack.
The blue gorilla's attack certainly had not been accidental. There was someone behind it, pulling the strings.
And according to Bulu, that instigator came from the Starry District.
